Add parents, a spouse, brothers and sisters, and the generations before them. The tree stands beside the headstone in the cemetery, so a visitor sees a family rather than a name.
For an animal it is a pedigree, in the words a breeder uses (sire, dam, littermate), read across the page and laid out to print on a single sheet.
FamilySearch
Bring in what has already been recorded.
Connect a FamilySearch account and the relatives already in their records can be added to a memorial without typing them again: names, years, and the line they came down.
Only people FamilySearch records as having died are brought across, and those entries are shown only to visitors signed in with FamilySearch. That is their condition for using the records, and our database enforces it rather than our intentions.

About the founder
Why this exists.
Burial Cloud has been an idea that was just that for decades, but two recent events allowed the idea to become a reality. The first was AI’s arrival, and the second was meeting my new co-founder Daniyal Sultan and his team at Webring. I would still be dreaming if that meeting had not happened.
Since 1983 I have lost four members of my family: two brothers and both of my parents. I was a working man at the time, so even though I was able to attend all the funerals, my brother Blaine was the first to leave me and I had to leave before the headstones were laid. I have not been able to see my brother’s grave since the funeral. He is buried in Waco, Texas, a place I will probably never visit again. Not because I would not want to sit and talk to him again, but because I never seem to have the time. It is the same for the rest of my lost ones.
Burial Cloud takes away the need to leave the house to visit them. A memorial, the stories, the videos and the photographs let me relive my past and be with them wherever I am. Any time I feel down and need to talk to one of them, they are with me.
Now you can take your own lost loved ones, people or pets, anywhere you like, and relive the times that make you smile. Most of us have someone we need to remember. Burial Cloud puts those memories within reach, no matter where you are.
